Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data is collected through this website, why it is collected, and what rights you have. Processing is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Data controller
The controller of your data is Dimitris (DimitrisWeb).
- Contact email: dimitris.webdeveloper@gmail.com
- Business name / VAT number: [fill in your details]
- Address: [fill in your address]
2. What data is collected
This website collects data only when you choose to get in touch.
Through the contact form
- Full name — so I know how to address you.
- Email address — so I can reply to you.
- Phone number (optional) — only if you prefer to be called.
- Subject and approximate budget — so I can understand what you need.
- Your message — whatever content you choose to send me.
Technical data
For security and stability purposes, the hosting provider automatically logs your IP address, the date and time of the request, and your browser type. These logs are retained by the provider and are not used by me to build profiles. When you submit the form, your IP is recorded temporarily to prevent automated abuse (spam).
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Replying to your enquiry — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Website security and spam prevention — legal basis: my legitimate interest in protecting the infrastructure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Meeting tax obligations, should we work together — legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Your data is not used for marketing messages or newsletters without your separate, explicit consent.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website uses no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no analytics tools. There are no third-party cookies.
Fonts are hosted locally on this website's own server rather than loaded from Google Fonts, so your IP address is not disclosed to third parties as you browse.
If analytics tools are added in future, a consent request will be shown and this policy will be updated.
5. Who receives the data
I do not sell or rent your data. It may be accessed only by:
- The hosting provider (Hostinger), acting as a processor, for the technical operation of the site and email delivery.
- The email provider through which I receive and store your message.
Both are contractually bound to protect the data. No transfers outside the EEA take place beyond those that may arise through the providers above, which apply appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).
6. Retention period
- Contact form messages that do not lead to a working relationship: up to 12 months.
- Data relating to a working relationship: for the duration of that relationship and thereafter for as long as tax law requires.
- Temporary IP records for spam prevention: up to 24 hours.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the data I hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- erasure (the "right to be forgotten");
- restriction of processing;
- data portability;
- object to processing;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, email dimitris.webdeveloper@gmail.com. You will receive a reply within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (1-3 Kifisias Ave., 115 23 Athens, Greece) or the supervisory authority in your own country.
8. Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). Form data is transmitted encrypted and is not stored in a database on the website — it is forwarded directly to my email.
9. Third-party links
The website contains links to profiles on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. If you follow them, the privacy policies of those platforms apply, and I bear no responsibility for them. These are plain hyperlinks — no content from those platforms is loaded inside this website.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to how the website works or to the law. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
